Random Thoughts

It's been about a year since I found out I have perfect pitch and I still think it's the weirdest thing ever. I know I talk about this a lot but really, it's interesting to me. Need to know what key a song's in? I can tell you without looking at anything. It's like I have this imaginary piano in my head. I can transpose songs in my head. Sometimes I see notes as colors. I feel trapped when I have to use sheet music for a song, therefore I only use it as a reference if I need one, so I mainly play by ear. If you told me to hum a specific note, I could do it without hearing it first. I don't know...it's bizarre, really. It's a curse and a gift at the same time. Why is it a curse? Because if I'm listening to a concert or something, I can tell when a guitar or something's out of tune and it bugs the shit out of me. :I But yeah... this is just something I think about quite a bit nowadays.
