So yeah, the con last Saturday. It was fun. Like loads of fun. My brother got to debut his Daft Punk helmet and one of his friends hung out with him cosplaying deadmau5. My brother got at least 20 pictures taken of him, which excites me because holy crap I worked my butt off on that helmet. As for me, I didn't get any pictures taken (not that I expected to, lol). Basically, I was just a big fluffy ball of NOPE the whole day. I tried to do everything I could to avoid getting pictures taken. Any time someone with a camera would walk by, I would hide behind people (this is where being short has its advantages), or I would take my jacket off and put it over my head and face. I'm usually open to people taking pics, but my cosplay wasn't and still isn't finished. I still have stuff to add on to the jacket and I've got shoes to fix up. On top of hiding from the cameras even though people probably didn't recognize who I was cosplaying because I didn't wear the jacket half the time, I was just feeling awkward and nervous for some reason. I guess it was the fact that I was cosplaying a real person for the first time and was afraid of being judged. I don't know why though, I mean I had Daft Punk and deadmau5 cosplayers right next to me. Bleh, as I said before, hopefully Colossalcon will go smoother. I'll have my cosplay complete by then, along with my guitar prop.
